Friction Farm at Libraries

Modern-folk duo Friction Farm will bring their book-inspired songs to the Monroe County libraries in
January.
The duo will perform Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Key West Branch, 700 Fleming St.; Friday, Jan. 11, at the Key Largo Branch, 101485 Overseas Highway; and Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Marathon Branch, 3251 Overseas Highway. All performances are at 6 p.m.
Friction Farm is a husband-and-wife team of traveling troubadours. Aidan Quinn and Christine Stay combine storytelling, social commentary and humor to create songs of everyday life, local heroes and quirky observations; from ballads to anthems, each song is filled with harmony and hope.
